The value of handmade gifts...
This is Anastasia from Natbee's Fashion and today I'm taking over the Londonian Girl,
as my sister is busy working over her Christmas projects.
In today's post I will show you our latest Etsy shop collection.
In case you are not aware, we run a small family business on Etsy
with handmade crocheted and knitted beanies and other pieces of clothing
by our mother Alexandra.
Tis the season to be jolly and treat your beloved ones
with a special gift
made with much love
so why don't you have a look at our shop
and mum's latest collection?
Let me know your thoughts!
Love,
Anastasia

Wishlist // Cozy wear
In my wishlist lately I have these two beauties;
a cozy, white knitted sweater
that is perfect for the low temperatures and
a camel moto jacket for an edgy look.
I know where I will be spending my pay check this month...
Happy Thursday!

Baking // Autumn favourites
While I was watching
Strictly come Dancing the other night
it struck me that I haven't really baked
something
for a long time
and by loooong time I mean over three months!
It's high time this to change
I whispered
and my boyfriend thought I am getting crazy...
Autumn is a great season to try new recipes
with pumpkin, caramel and
my old time favourite chocolate :)
So here are four of my most favourite recipes
that I have promised to try this weekend.
Let me know if you give any of these a go!

Mood board // Fit Inspiration
Lately I feel quite lazy...
Blame it on the weather and the lack of sunshine.
it doesn't really matter...
I decided to try and eat more healthy and
work out more regularly following
my personal crossfit programme.
A little fit inspiration never hurt anyone,
so here's an autumn-ish fitspiration mood board!
Happy weekend!

Love
"The most wonderful of all things in life is the discovery of another human being with whom one's relationship has a growing depth, beauty and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvelous thing; it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of divine accident, and the most wonderful of all things in life."

Mood board // Fall thoughts
all pictures via // edited by me
I know it's been ages since my last post here
but even though things have happened in my life the past time
(and I was always saying, oh my, I have to blog about this and that)
I never actually had the time to sit down and make a post!
So since my last post...
....I graduated from the University,
I got a new job
I made my hobby a part time job
I went on holidays with my sister
and also did a fair bit travelling with my boyfriend.
When did autumn arrive,
I have no idea!
Strangely enough though I like it :)
Autumn to me is a season to relax,
drink huge amounts of hot chocolate,
wear knitted layers
and take pictures of the brown-orange coloured alleys.
All these leaves in the streets,
all these colours in the sky..
...what best to come?

Mood board // This summer I want to...
Inspired by this post on the "10 things to do this summer" I decided to make summer list,
so here it goes.
This summer I would like to:
1. Travel to a place I have never been before
2. Taste a different bottle of wine (or two) every week
3. Read a book-and manage to finish it
4. Dance as much as possible
5. Laugh with every occasion-life is too short to take it seriously
6. Walk barefoot more often
7. Make colourful popcakes!
8. See some fireworks by the sea
9. Get a new camera....
10. ....and make a collage out of all my summer pictures
What are you planning to do this summer?

The Londonian Girl reviews...Fitflop Ollo Cork Tan
If you are a regular reader of this blog,
then you already know from this post
that sometime ago I was lucky enough to win a Fitflop giveaway
and choose a pair of my choice.
"Just on time for summer" I thought-after jumping twice around the dining table!
My box arrived very quickly
and there was this pair of Ollo Cork Tan sandals
waiting for me to try them on.
Unfortunately the size is a tiny bit bigger than my actual size
-I definitely recommend anyone to buy a size smaller than their actual size when buying these sandals-
but boy do I love them!
Fitflops are made for walking since the heel's material absorbs any tension while walking,
which of course gives me extra motivation to go for a walk at Hyde Park
even after a very tiring day in the office.
Even though it is not the prettiest pair of shoes I have ever owned
I find them perfect for travelling, shopping and strolling in the beach.
Fashion lately is not all about being chic,
but rather about being chic AND comfortable (Birkenstock I hear you say!)
For the price given I think Fitflop wins, so why not give it a go this summer?
Who knew that even for a petite girl like me, heels can be comfortable!
Have you ever tried Fitflops?

Wishlist // Denim & white shirt

Happy bank holiday weekend!
I am so happy this long anticipating weekend is finally here.
It has been a hectic week for me involving projects,
assignments and a friend visiting on Wednesday-showing him around London was not that bad,
but considering I was very stressed
you can tell I didn't enjoy much playing the tourist in my own city!
Blogging was not on the top of my list
but today I had a lovely lie in
and the first thing I got in mind when I finally got up
was to write about my latest fashion obsession-
which basically happens to be the outfit I am living in lately.
Denim and white!
So simple, so effortless yet so chic. It keeps me going from Monday to Friday
and from morning's in the office until late evening drinks in the pub.
Timeless and a successful styling recipe- denim and white combination can never go wrong, can it?

Lifestyle // Thoughts about being back home
It's a funny thing about coming back home.
Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same.
You'll realize what has changed is you.
-F.Scott Fitzgerald
It feels weird lately.
I am glad being back home,
being re-united with my beloved sister, parents and friends,
but at the same time I have a hidden sadness
buried in my heart.
Physically I am here,
but mentally I am in London.
I miss my life, my job and my friends there,
even though I have just been away for less than ten days!
I spent last night by the beach,
drinking red wine and listening to the sound of the waves,
while trying to find an answer to my feelings.
Fitzgerald's quote seems to be the answer to my questions so far,
it is not my family that has changed,
nor my house-everything is and feels the same.
It is me that has changed though,
I am not the same person anymore and living abroad has changed me
for the best or the worse.
Time flies quickly,
so I decided to make myself a favour and enjoy the rest of the week as much as possible,
before I have to fly back in London,
because then I will miss home and all my time here will be wasted,
Such an irony, isn't it?
Missing my home while being in my home away from home..
Missing my home while being in my home away from home..
Do you ever feel the same?

4. Black Toast 1 Pint Storage Jar Sugar 2014 // Emma Bridgewater

I am getting very excited with all the spring colours around us-have you seen the blossom trees yet?
Pastel colours are steadily making their way into the shops and having a quick stroll in Oxford street today I got plenty of inspiration to do a pastel pink-white wishlist.
The skater dress from Topshop and the pink lemonade rucksack from Grafea are by far my favourite, however I am currently lacking a London underground map tray, so who is willing to spend 27 quid for me (I will love you forever I promise).
Hope you have a lovely week!

Style Inspiration // Anneli Willis from What I Bought Today
Anneli is my latest girl crash.
She has an eye for beautiful things,
best bargains and wonderful outfit compositions.
She is not your average fashion blogger when it comes to posing,
she gets the most spontaneous pictures and this is one of the reasons I love her blog the most!
I enjoy all her posts-fashion and non fashion relevant
and I wish I will have the chance to meet her one day in person.
Follow her blog here and get the latest fashion & outfit inspiration!
Have a great weekend!

Wishlist // Fitflops the comfortable sandals
1. YOKO mink & yellow pear // 2. YOKO black & fog
3. OLLO cork black // 4. OLLO cork tan
5. BON easy turban white // 6. BON easy tan
I was over the moon
to be informed earlier today that I am the lucky winner of the FitFlop giveaway at Bunnipunch.
I have never had a pair of Fitflop shoes
and having the chance to pick a pair of my choice
brought a huge smile on my face!
As it was my birthday four days ago, I thought that this pair is a surprise birthday present
and now I can't see the time for the first sunny days to come in London.
Browsing the store I came across so many lovely choices that got me overwhelmed,
so decided to do a post and introduce you my favourite twins (aka pairs of shoes with the same design but in different colours).
Which one is your favourite pair?
Oh, and in case you have been wondering I chose the YOKO sandals in black.
Hurry up Mr. Postman :)

London life #3
1. double wrap watch - Michael Kors // 2. chocolate box - House of Dorchester Flying the Flag {via John Lewis}// 3. tote - Madewell // 4. slip on sneakers - Rachel Zoe Barney
I haven't done a London life post for ages, but lately I have been running errands with my University assignments so I think I had a good excuse to be away the blogsphere. Today is the first day of Spring break (hooray) and finally I got sometime to answer all my emails and do a new blog post (yes, you may not want to hold your applause).
So what have I done during my absence?
Taking loads of black&white pictures with my new camera, craving this peanut butter fudge ice cream sandwiches- recipe here, playing the tourist around my city and doing loads of online shopping, that included this luxurious chocolate box! Doesn't it have the best package ever?
How was your weekend? I want to hear all about your news :)

Pink trees and blue jackets // Trespass Qikpac jacket review
It's been a while now that I have received this lovely Trespass jacket
from Surfdome, a London based company
that offers an extensive collection of sports equipment, outdoor clothing, footwear and accessories.
To be honest living in London and wearing a unisex jacket is not something I have ever thought
(everyone is so stylish!)
but this is a life saving piece of clothing as it can be easily packed away within a minute!
What does that mean?
Well let's say you are walking through the streets of the city
and out of the blue raindrops fall on your face
but you are not carrying an umbrella (story of my life).
This jacket comes in a pack away tiny bag that allows you to carry it with you around
and is so light weighted that makes it even more convenient to have it in your bag all day long!
What I loved about this jacket:
-the amazing colour
- it is a wind breaker that keeps me warm even though it is so thin
-it is quickly packed away
-it has light weight
-ideal for runners
-it has pockets and a an adjustable hood
-can be worn on top of your jacket and keep you dry
-very affordable price
-fast shipping (to be more precise very fast shipping)
Would I buy it as a gift for a friend?
.....definitely!
...and in case you would like to check some other jackets in different colours and shapes
have a look here!
Thanks Surfdome for the lovely gift, it has been of a great use so far!

Mood board // White Thursday
all pictures taken via and edited by me
Life is moving forward and I feel like taking every step slowly.
Before starting this post I gave a good thought whether I should apologize or not for being away from the blogsphere for such a long time, but I was just not feeling into it.
I took the decision of writing when I feel like saying something or having something to post about.
Hope you will still be here for me :)
Enjoy today's mood board...
...white Thurday it is!
